la-di-da 15: Peaches live in jakarta

I just know the Peaches will be playing here the day before the gig.
I was very lucky because the next day, my husband's friend gave us a free ticket to watch the Peaches. Her voice was good, and although she looks old but she was very energetic, eccentric, and very entertaining. She reminds me of Lady Gaga.

She was wearing this quirky costume on the first appearance

She changed her costume several time

She off the stage, ran through the crowd, and climbed on to the table

la-di-di-da 15: imogen heap live in jakarta

It was the best performance i've ever seen. She has a great voice, great music instruments, adorable outfit that night, and great audience also! Can't wait for her next concert! She said she wants to be back here before the end of the year. Amin!

That is her quirky/great instrument

la-di-da 14: Kings of Convinience live in jakarta

Jens Lekman may not be as popular as Kings of Convinience here in Jakarta.
I can say that because i came to the concert last Sunday.
Lekman was singing before KoC (you could say as the opening band).
And not everyone seems enthusiastic with Jens Lekman.
Maybe because they were not familiar with the songs.
I myself only listen to his latest album. And i liked it.
I really liked it, and i dont care about singing and dancing alone
in the crowd.
He performed with very simple equipment but still charming.
And yes, he has a really good voice!
Okay, enough of the praise!
On the other hand, my husband and his friends were a little disappointed because he sang very briefly. Well at least, Lekman has replaced our disappointment of two years ago when his concert was canceled in Bandung.
Anyway, KoC was also interesting.
But maybe because this was the second time they played in Jakarta, and i watch both. Their performance looks the same for me. But they're both really funny and sweet (especially Eirik). They're good!

Eirik was ill on that night

but he's still singing

la-di-da 13: camera obscura live in bandung

Honestly I don't listen to their music, but my husband did.
I'm talking about this band from Scotland, Camera Obscura.
I know they are an indie pop band. And i'm quite listen to a few indie pop songs.
I think i'm quite familiar to this style of music.
So i decided to see their show with my hubby and my brother in law while i'm in Bandung.
And sure enough, I enjoy their show. And the vocalist haircut also!!!

Love her bob haircut

Tracyanne Campbell, the vocalist and guitarist

Met few of friends before the show. Manik is sixth months pregnant now... (center)
